Dmitry Saikovsky, Founder and General Partner at New Nordic Ventures. Prior to starting New Nordic Ventures, in 2018 I co-founded Overkill Ventures, the leading acceleration fund in CEE. During our acceleration period we made pre-seed investments in 38 startups from Baltics, ex-CIS and CEE, more than 50% of our portfolio startups raised new investments. We built very strong follow-on investment portfolio of 8 companies where we made co-investments with Tier-1 early stage investors from Nordic Europe, including leading Danish VCs, founders of unicorns, incl. founders of Vivino. Back in 2017 I organised the first acceleration programme in Latvia in partnership with Lattelecom, we made 7 investments that time and now 4 out of 7 companies are performing very well. Before that I spent 8 years working at big4 companies Deloitte and EY, doing corporate finance mainly in Baltics. And 3-4 years was in a strategic development management group of Lattelecom and helped Lattelecom with tech M&A.
